They could have troop ships that clans could requisition stationed off the coast of the present map. Kind of reverse landing zones. Once a clan won a troop ship it could sail across the Altantic and land in any landing zone a couple of days later. That would give members plenty of time for drinking and planning evil deeds.
The arrivals would also be allowed (or forced) to change their names. No foreign sounding names. For example Forge probably okay, but Guerrillas might become Insurgents, or maybe just Gorillas. A committee of English speaking Dev's would make those decisions.
The South American clans will not be able to land at first but will eventually be allowed in as mercenaries for those clans too lazy to fight their own battles. However they will still be considered illegals.
Some new clans should already be on the NA map but only if they are native. Sioux Nation for the plains for example. The invading clans would of course slaughter them mercilessly for the gold, but only after forming NAP's and promising they could keep their lands forever. (Very much like what happens on the map now.)
All African clans will be subclans at first. At some point they will win their freedom but will always be considered, well, subclans.
Lots of other things could be done to make the event exciting. Should be fun.
