the largest player base for World of Tanks, each with a single team
representation. Regarding the "after thought" comment, that would
make more sense if it were 5/4--bracket events only work properly
if you have 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, etc. or if you have byes
like the National Football League does for its first round.
Obviously byes are only viable in a situation like this when all
teams involved have competed during a regular season to place
appropriately in group standings.
