Praetor77, on Aug 14 2012 - 19:15, said: Are there any plans to lower the chance of T14 and Churchill to
enter tier 6 battles? Their matchmaking is significantly worse than
in 7.4, I keep getting tier 6 battles over and over. The unofficial
win% for T14 in russian server in the last month reflects this
fact... it´s around 46%... worst tank after B1... O_oGeneralDirection: Interesting. The win % for the T14 is a little higher--actually
close to where it should be (when factoring in 2% draws)--for North
America. The Churchill is doing just fine with its current
matchmaking. We'll take a look before 8.0 and make a decision, I'm
sure.

anything . This is the only thing I am not getting to
understand for some reason maybe a little dense lol.GeneralDirection: In what context?
fatsoferret, on Aug 14 2012 - 20:01, said: With the new rendering system will the game support SLI and
CrossfireX?Also will the 8.0 update bring multicore support to WOT? or will that come in a later update?
GeneralDirection: This depends entirely on middleware updates, which while we're
working on them, is not always within our power. The Big World
acquisition makes things a little easier, so hopefully we can get
some kind of support in for 8.0.
Sojo, on Aug 14 2012 - 20:01, said: Hello All, A big request, I understand you as developers and
employees introduced this game to make, in the end money. We, the
true and faithful are very aware, plus, it’s a business, we
understand. My request is that the people who have spent the most money, or level of spending. Let’s say, since release to present I have spent approximately $1000.00 (US). Is there a way we can be rewarded for our loyalty?
Example, $1000.00 a year permits player to choose a Highest Tier tank of their choosing fully trained.
That would be a very reasonable earned reward.
Please, if this was contemplated, making it retroactive would be great.
Just an idea.
Thanks
GeneralDirection: I doubt we would do something like the idea you've suggested,
because it could mean selecting the top tier of a brand new tech
tree / branch, which completely bypasses game
progression--something premiums don't allow. They help you reach
your end goal, but it doesn't completely remove that sense of
accomplishment that you feel when moving through a branch in a tech
tree.

Thanks!TBH, why didn't you just link me instead of giving another vague "It's in there somewhere"? Would have made this really simple. By my frank and persistent posts it showed I genuinely wanted an answer and that I was looking and just not seeing it.
GeneralDirection: You're right, I should have just linked to it.
Tupinambis, on Aug 14 2012 - 20:24, said: Hey GeneralDirection, can you confirm what tiers the E-25 and
Panther/M10 thing are going to be?GeneralDirection: Tentatively:
E-25 - 5 or 6 (still deciding)
Panther-M10 - 7

Farva1, on Aug 14 2012 - 20:40, said: Some of the problem maps are really, really bad, ie Prokhorovka and
Campinovka. In general Assault is not very fun the way
they have been implemented on the maps that they
have. I'm not saying I don't want Assault becuase I do,
but most of the time, I would rather drive my tank into the open
and die without playing so I can move on. It really is
that unfun so to speak. If it wasn't that bad I'd say
give it time, but when a map/mode makes you NOT want to play the
game, thats as bad as it gets. I would be interested in
WG's ideas for improving Assault (ie more maps, taking some out,
changing others). On a related note, is there any intention of giving us a choice of mode?
GeneralDirection: Interestingly enough Malinovka is one of the more balanced in terms
of win rates. But yes, Prokhorokva is a little out of whack right
now.
In 8.0 you'll be able to select whether or not you want to play a mode. The match will still be chosen at random, but it will only look for modes you want to play.

c0r3, on Aug 14 2012 - 20:52, said: Will account transfers/unified accounts across all the server
locales (link in sig), in some form be available in the future, if
so.. when?GeneralDirection: We're still investigating this. There are a lot of logistical
hurdles to overcome here.
c0r3, on Aug 14 2012 - 20:52, said: Will RNG be rebalanced to put more emphasis on skill rather than
dice rolls? (0 dmg crits/low dmg rolls on killshots (tanks being
left on <50hp))GeneralDirection: There aren't any immediate plans to tweak the RNG, no.
Maus123, on Aug 14 2012 - 21:05, said: Are you planning on adding a WW1 type map with shell craters and
trenches?GeneralDirection: Only if they were features of a map planned for development. We
look at what the game needs in terms of global map expansion more
than map-specific features like shell craters or trenches, so we
probably wouldn't set out to create a map with those features just
because.
Hitty40, on Aug 14 2012 - 21:31, said: 1.Will we ever get orbital strikes when players hear 'I'MA FIRIN'
MAH LASER' And then a giant beam of light destroys everything in
its' path?GeneralDirection: Not for random battles, but one of the features of clan wars will
be air strikes. It's not lasers, but it's close.
Hitty40, on Aug 14 2012 - 21:31, said: 2. Continuing a bit more on my airdropping question, considering
this is a game and not a simulation, couldn't be possible if the
devs wanted to make a Maus aripdrop from the sky(Or maybe fired out
of a giant cannon from a spaceship) anyways, make the tanks move at
the same fall speed no matter what size they are?GeneralDirection: Well, sure... we could. But that is a bit too much of a stretch.
You'd need a fairly modern cargo plane to even transport it, and
dropping it would impact with the force of around 91,000 tons per
square meter. It'd also travel at around 1,062 miles per hour
during the drop.
I don't think your crew would survive that.

WarStore, on Aug 14 2012 - 22:30, said: General Direction, about this...After 7.5, all the XP I had in my Ferdi was transferred to JTiger, although I already had enough XP stored to research Jpz-E100. Now I have the Jpz-E100 and around 140K XP stored in my JTiger.
Could you guys implement a way to convert that unused XP to something useful, like training my JTiger crew?
If I knew you guys would do that to my Ferdi, I would never store XP in it in the first place.
GeneralDirection: It's only going to work for free experience as of 8.0.
Timberwolf84, on Aug 14 2012 - 22:37, said: Will the German penetration values be increased on the Maus, and E
100? Right now they are lower than all other countires at tier 10.GeneralDirection: Possibly. We're still deciding on the buff for the E-100. The Maus
has no changes planned.
Timberwolf84, on Aug 14 2012 - 22:37, said: Will the E 50 ausf M get a ROF boost to match the DPM of all other
tier 10 mediums? I honestly do not know how its current ROF is
justified when compared to the other tier 10 mediums. And the camo
factor, why is it so low on a "sniper" tank? I really would love to
see the reasoning behind this.....GeneralDirection: No plans to make the RoF of the E-50M similar to the other tier
10s.
Timberwolf84, on Aug 14 2012 - 22:37, said: One more thing: why does everyone say that increasing the stats on
German tanks will be "un-historical". Many of the tanks in game
only existed on paper. And the German end tanks were built in
WW2!!! The US and Russian tanks go into the 1950's. So as this is
an arcade style game and not a straight simulator.........why the
refusal to help the German tanks out a bit?GeneralDirection: It's not a refusal, as 8.0 shows. But the end goal is to have
interesting gameplay with each top tier vehicle--not the same exact
gameplay with a different skin. So we have to be careful how
similar the tanks end up.
Cuth, on Aug 14 2012 - 23:03, said: Oh, that's clear. I was thinking more like a tier 6 premium SPG
that earns and has MM similar to the current tier 8 premium
non-SPGs. I'd be on board for $35-$50 as soon as it came out. Maybe
something like an S-51 but with the stock (or slightly upgraded)
152mm gun would work well..GeneralDirection: A tier 6 would be a bit more reasonable at the moment, yes. But
there's nothing currently planned. This is of course only the next
couple updates, so I can't say for sure what's coming in, say, 8.3
or beyond.
Cuth, on Aug 14 2012 - 23:03, said: As far as letting us pay gold/cash for a premium credit-earning
coefficient for our (currently owned non-premium) tanks, you didn't
answer that part, so I assume it isn't planned?GeneralDirection: Hmm, maybe I didn't answer yours but I thought I answered that
question from someone. It's still something we're considering, but
no ETA.
dumbo1002003, on Aug 14 2012 - 23:10, said: hi, is there any way to lock the aiming point of the main
gun when you are moving or swinging the turret rapidly
to combat a close quarters foeGeneralDirection: By default, right-clicking while mousing over an enemy should lock
on auto aim.
