Get a news piece on the portal
Explain that you didn't intend for it to be active and that you are working to fix it by undoing the glitch... more of an explanation than "we are looking into it" (what does that mean???)
The reaction time needs to improve so that the forum doesn't get so out of control that the players have stopped listening due to anger.
... and to those of you that are all for locking in the hopes it will remove stagnation from the UC map: you are delusional. It would only affect the LZs and the area immediatley around them (not being able to land or "take back" the LZs have alreadly done that).
I have 3 end tier tanks. If they get destroyed I am done in UC (let's be realistic about the functionality of non-end tier) for several days. At that point, I am done with the game. I have played for a year. I only still play because of UC. Take my ability to play UC in the tank I want and I leave... I am sure that I wouldn't be the only one.
