I have clan members constantly posting to our VPG chat window in game raking in 70,000 credits in a battle where doing the same thing in my Pershing I am lucky to break even (both of us being on standard accounts at that time).
You want to see less of any one particular tank then you need to allow a way for ANY tank in the game to be able to make obscene credit profits.
All of us have to have millions of credits to get to end tier tanks and for each line you go up you have to do it all again.
The high tier premiums broke the system because they allow a player to play in a high damage/credit/xp potential with high reward match and no downside.
CREDIT PROFIT is the SOLE REASON Type 59s are played in droves.

GeneralDirection: You have a point regarding its earning potential. But by actual raw numbers, the Lowe and KV-5 are both better credit earners than the Type 59. However, the Type 59 is a completely different style of gameplay than the Lowe and KV-5, and one that seems to appeal to more players than the tier 8 heavy premiums.
