was those clans that actually held territory when the forum was
setup. Seems to be a simple requirement to get access. Since there
are almost 2300 clans and they have to manually add each Commander,
adding them all manually would have been a large task (yes i'm sure
they could've created a script or something to do this for them but
that would require more work). Commanders also come and go, not as
frequent as DC, soldiers or recruits. Obviously we don't have 2300
active clans with only 80+ clans on the map. There's no secrets or
grand decisions being done. However, there is no reason to add just
any one as the whole point was to keep the trolls out. If you want
access, i would suggest you start by taking a piece of property. I
would check with FYI, I believe WG has also stated that creating
"placeholders" as you have done violates the EULA. I would login to
the forums with
Grumpyolfart and see if
you have access to the Clan Council with that account. If you
don't, you should. I don't know the process of how they are adding
folks to that forum group. Maybe send them some cookies
GeneralDirection: We'll be announcing the forum tomorrow, but the criteria will be
fairly straightforward: control territory on the map, or have 50 or
more members. We'll be a bit flexible with the 50 or more members
rule since we don't want to exclude a clan with, say, 47 members...
but for now those will be the requirements. We want the channel of
communication to be focused on clans actively participating -- or
able to participate -- in the current state of clan wars.
As we implement additional features we will relax the requirements.
For example, once Diplomacy is implemented we will lower the "or
have 50 or more members" number quite a bit to take into account
Alliances.
