December Challenge Cancelled
Дата: 10.12.2011 01:03:48
GeneralDirection: We're going to be cancelling the December Challenges in order to
complete a fairly significant rewrite of the rules, while also
making them more comprehensive and clearly visible on the Challenge
forum.
That said, I would like to share the plan for Challenges as of January, 2012:
Registration will begin on the first Monday of the month and will end the following Friday. The first round will begin the second Monday of the month and the schedule will be based on the number of teams participating. We will not have maximum number of teams in place for a Challenge, except noting that there must be an even number of teams accepted. If we have to reject any teams so that the schedule will actually work, then this will be done based on the time the team was submitted for approval. All of the various team statuses (Forming, Pending Approval, etc.) will be clearly explained within the new rules.
Keep in mind that these are not all of the finalized rules--just topics we're comfortable with sharing. We're still discussing some of the rule changes and will be doing so into next week. I will be meeting with our E-Sports team at the Wargaming.net headquarters and hope to resolve a lot of the concerns with tournaments at that time.
