OK, the special has started and I would like to point out an error as I am sure you are aware of the announcement content which reads:
Up to 58% discount on premium shells
60% discount on premium consumables (new price during the special - 20 gоld)
50% discount on equipment
50% discount on garage slot purchases
If I do the math given what the previous costs of premium shells were for example ( IS 4 ) @ 10 gold minus 58% = 4.2 gold per shell vs 5 gold per shell.
Now the math is quite easy for premium shells for those shells at that amount ( 4.2 ) if players are buying those shells in even number amounts:
10 shells x 4.2 = 42 gold VS 10 shells x 5 = 50 gold, for a savings of 8 gold and for some players saving money or gold in this case is a good thing for which they can spend less to get more and in turn buy more premium shells.
Other tanks were the premium shell cost is an odd number 7 gold per premium shell, the math gets alittle whacked and the cost breakout becomes alittle more confusing, but saving money/gold is what were talking about here to spend less = get more = spending more.
Granted, the wording as such states ( UP TO ) meaning that for some tanks the premium shell cost 58% less, however, as I am merely pointing out this may cause some confusion with those as to why they are seeing a half price cost vs the 58% less cost. It's a rather ingenious marketing ploy to word it in such a manner, but, really all that's happening is the cost for premium shell was reduced by 50%, not 58%, but the wording lets ya off the hook so to speak.
Yes, I am splitting hairs, but, in a world where I am spending money, I am also looking at savings in the true sense of the percentage discount and more than likely upon posting this I will get a buttload of crap from those that are thinking I should be happy with it and not griping about it and their the ones that don't get or they do get it and are content with it as it stands.
