World of Tanks Community Portal Update Incoming

GeneralDirection: As part of our preparation for update 7.0 – tentatively scheduled for November – we will be releasing a revamped World of Tanks community portal. This first step in the introduction of the next major game update will be taking place this week.
The update is expected to go live tomorrow evening, October 12, 2011, at the earliest. This update will require no downtime for World of Tanks, or the current community portal. Once the new portal is live, www.worldoftanks.com will begin redirecting to it automatically.
The new portal introduces a slew of new features, as well as a redesign that is similar to the current Ultimate Conquest website – making it far more visually pleasing than the existing design. As part of this release, the Ultimate Conquest website will be integrated directly into the general game website.
We will also be performing maintenance on some services related to the game and website, as well as Ultimate Conquest.
During this maintenance, the following will be unavailable:
New game account registrationMaking changes to existing accounts (password change, account recovery, profile update, etc.)Visiting the Ultimate Conquest website

Once the new community portal is live, you’ll be able to log in with your existing World of Tanks account to begin using the updated website.
