This is but one of many, many, many threads that were brought to our attention in the past months when tank locking was announced. We had several conversations with many players (on forums, chat, and teamspeak) about the tank locking, and the overall feeling we were getting from the players was extremely negative, unhappy, and disgruntled.
This is why when I had the chance to speak face to face with the CW designers, I shared with them everything that I heard from the players over the past months, and this is what they decided, for now.
