satisfaction knowing you're from the World of Warships team.
I've read a lot of posts and spoken with people that are very
unhappy with WoW...especially the crew system among others.
So, tanks has hired on a FPS dev in the past few years (correct me
if I'm wrong) and are now bringing people over from World of
Warships? And the system in test server now is nothing but a
credit/xp sink for long time players and a pipe dream for new
players...sooooo...... You'll have to forgive my bluntness
but this is all nonsense. WG are simply not trying to look
out for new players and have shown their hand several times
now. They are simply looking for new 'sinks' that they can
sell to players as 'options'. Your quote cracks me up
yet again...because this crap has been 'driven into practice with
courageous impatience' for years...and yet again, here we
are...testing a new credit/xp sink that will punish new players and
fleece long time players. And if this test is anything like
Battle Pass test then all the 'costs' on the test server will be
MUCH higher in live server. Fun!Elias_K_Grodin: That's fine, my partner "foodprinter" got the same thing when he
moved over from WoT to WOWS 3 years ago so we're used to getting
constructive "plank-walking" from time to time! But in all
seriousness, the video game industry is a close knit community and
we sometimes look at other titles out there, sometimes within and
outside WG, for fresh ideas or concepts that were proven to
work. While you have some good points with events and features
that appear to appeal to veteran players, we actually have been
fairly successful within the past year finding new players and
audience that continue to play WoT and even WOWS. It might be
related to the pandemic but we're still looking at the type of new
players and audience that we've brought onboard and how we can
retain them and continue to grow. Old man Rickover liked to do
a couple of things regularly:Demand the Navy stop investing in the
surface navy and invest more and more in submarines Constructive
criticism of the Navy's future planning I used his quote not
for satire of criticism of Field Modifications, but to spur on
discussion on this feature. I find that your points and many other
thread contributors valuable in finding a right direction and
balance. I encourage you and everyone else in this post and other
topics related to Field Modifications to pose your questions and
provide solid feedback. Also, try out the Sandbox this weekend and
post your thoughts and feedback!Sandbox
