No reason German tech tree needs to be gimped because of what
happened in the past. Edit- I completely get it, I was just
pointing out what you already knew, The gold cost and the ability
to make credits is easier in the Defender. I love light Tanks, But
very often, I spot for no one, While I am in a good spot and
spotting for my team, I will have no one fire at the targets that
are lit or no one is in a position, It isn't like I am in a weird
spot, I love to scout for my Mates but spotting and no one fires,
or I have no guns backing my tank, It can become infuriating.
When it all comes together, great to see and be apart of.

Indeed, among all tech tree branches, the German Light tanks require a buff urgently and is not a hard thing to do if they just want to buff them slightly, simply by increasing shell velocity and Alpha from tier 8 to 10 would be enough.
Well, in February 14th I got the Löwe as a gift so I can make credits with it, that spot is already covered. As for light tanks, I must say I suck at them for lack of use of this class (I've only played 237 matches in lights) but I started to get the hang of this HWK 30 and yes, I got some matches where I spotted several tanks during great part of the match but nobody shoots at them, I guess I need to be more communicative in the chat for this class to spot with better efficiency.
