Good move? Bad move? Or just a new name for the same
thing? Cheers, Guido
Draschel: Its fine, I think. The one problem i do see though, it
is very unfair. Unequal treatment. Lets take, for example, the
E25 guy that would text in obnoxious over sized purple all the
time. A great exampleThis guy, was banned, for his
continued harassment. Though minor, he did it nearly every
post, and forum decided to ban him finally.Under these new policy
changes, simple harassment and derogatory shaming, Etc doesn't
culminate into permanent suspension. Continued minor infractions
just get +1d added on. But prior to, old users, would get
PERMANENTLY BANNED, when these minor instances added and added.
With this new policy, apparently only MAJOR offenses, IE:
hate speech and/or threats, are needed for permanent bans. Which
really, not alot of people openly do. Most tickets, chat
violations, forum discourse are simple name calling and/or loose
profanity. Which leads to dramatic unfairness here, as WG is openly
saying they are not recalling permanent bans, but only removing
strikes and issuing ''relapse'' It really is vividly unfair.
