auto-ricochet medium tank UFP

Draschel: Medium tanks increasingly are appearing with auto-ricochet angle
hulls. Even if not very thick armor in itself. This in itself is a
feature leading to more HEAT being used than otherwise not being
used. I am will to forgive the Strv tank destroyers, since
they are not very versatile and it is hard to use this ability
feasibly and aggressively. So they can keep it. Is this a problem
for heavies, well not for me, because respectfully on assault TD or
heavy they should be getting shot in UFP anyway. While
T100LT and LT432 are not ricochet angle, they are extremely close
and achieve it very easy. Thats why they bounce attack very common.
Tanks like FV4202, the entire UDES medium line, CS63, prog65, AMBT
- there are many. And while who am I, to judge what is fair or
unfair in a very unfair game, all I am saying is it leads to alot
of unusual HEAT usage generally one would not expect. Say for
example, and UDES Alt getting spammed by heat by tier 6 tanks,
despite not being known conventionally as a very armored medium. Or
Prog65 by tier 8s. The clear counter would be, well learn to aim
and shoot the LFP or turret which are weak. Well, has that work for
UDES 15,16? And what about long, 400+ ranges where your shell just
goes wherever it wants. All I am saying is, if there were
any care taken to look at features such as +2/-2MM, +/-25% rng
span, removing ricochet angle hulls on light vehicles that
shouldn't be getting them....premium ammunition use would drop in
itself. A far healthier attitude, at least being
constructively and better for game health - than the usual approach
by resident Mr. 105mm, complaining about premium ammunition itself,
when his most played heavies are Super conquer and 705A.
Nice.
