There is no grandfathered in to competitive matches in any game. This is the game you are choosing to take your stand on so you need to actually put in what is needed. I seriously do not care if someone has a Centurion AX from the day it was released with 2k games on it if I am asking for an STB for one of my calls. My strategy needs an STB1 and I can find someone to play if I need to. My goal is glory and I find that when the victory screen appears after a 15v15 match at tier 10 so I do what I need to in order to play in those matches and maybe you should start doing the same.
