Draschel:  Its curious you say, believe such things. Lets look at this, with real examples. Lemmingrush played EU, with a laptop and 300+ ping. And he did great. Sirfoch played RU, a free to play account gimmick going up the French lines. Again, with a laptop and nothing short of great and he complained of latency all the time. I played tanks for many years, without proper sound (sometimes even no sound) and an older I74810 laptop, and now with a rig and monitor I wouldn't say success just leaps forward because of it. voodoo talks of sound being an important aid in a video, but makes it clear that its something YOU ADD to your play. I remember in an youtube video, taugrim talks at great length, as to why mechanical skills aren't why people play poorly, its mechanics. Which are two very very very different words despite the similarity in the words.  While I don't suggest playing with nagging mechanical issues, such as a bad PC / poor latency / dulled senses, - they aren't the primary causes people perform poorly unless its a limb injury? Suffering a stroke? Its a poor understanding of the game. And every single excellent player out there will agree. Its not their ping, their monitor performance, aids such as 3rd party mods, heck even cheating, lightning fast reflexes, ears of a fox, eagle eyes that provide them success. This game is all about placing oneself in the proper position to mitigate the need for superior mechanical aspects. A player with excellent supporting mechanical aids, by a huge margin, falls short of someone with a bad array of mechanical aids,  =but excellent grasp of game mechanics and how-to
