HE nerf being reversed?

Draschel:  Its not just about the result. Its about the nonsense leading to the result, that WG no longer wanted to perpetuate. WG doesn't want people no-aim auto aim derp people for 1/3rd HE damage in the strongest sections of the target, while tanks like TVP or T62A/907 have to aim for that same damage. WG wanted to reduce the roulette, of 60 TP (.....not just 60 TP, but E100, T30, 110E4, Type 5, Grille, Sheridan)  doing 75 damage one time, and the next time dealing 350 - hitting the same hull down tank in the same spot basically. So they narrowed it down to ~150 generally. Secondly, many hulldown tanks like kranvan, super conquer, 110E5, Badger, STB1 have a very poor comparable HE yield  compared to prior listed tanks. Especially pre 1.12 which boosted low caliber HE performance. Before 1.12,  light tanks not named sheridan, something like STB1 could have shot something like IS7 hulldown and got 0 damage again and again, and not even hitting screens. Literally the turret. Now something dumb like LT432 or senlac, can even shoot the IS7 or E100 into the turret and do at least 10 damage. Why say this? Because pre 1.12 the 60 TP would derp the hull down tank, and the hull down tank typically something like kranvan or chieftain, couldn't derp back the derper. They'd commonly do 0 damage. Now its been buffed, to make it more practical for the low bore size, but more impractical for the heavy bore size. Lastly, unfortunately most of the time HE spam encountered is from position where its not 1 vs 1. And where to move into position to favorably trade your AP/HEAT for his HE, leaves you taking damage from others covering him, or putting yourself through dangerous territory. They wanted this cheap skate crap gone. And have done so.
