There are two present accounts, listed. Not too much
difference to note, other than games played and the damage caused.
As I said, hard to take into account pre 9.17 artillery games
because they could actually find damage adequately. Now artillery
struggles with it. Let us void experience, shall we? I have
experience in artillery. For the benefit of the OTHER party,
we shall also void experience in other classes. which are
massively lopsided to one account huge favor. Massively.
And this is a huge issue. One personally can do ailing
& poorly in other classes. But step into an artillery and
more or less perform reasonably well. But the other account
via other spectrum, does exceptional in other classes and makes
effective use of many more complex game mechanics, but steps into
artillery and these extra skills don't translate to much more
gained results. Broken. Back to discussion. 1. How
is it fair, that artillery can attack without direct line
of sight and in curved arc of fire, from outside of 720m
render, and over obstacles like terrain and structures?No
other class can. Though artillery do not have the boosted DPM,
accuracy, aim-time, applicable alpha, muzzle velocity of
tank-fire....these attribute are explained as *better than*
not wholly different. Artillery is wholly different. This
massively disrupts game balance. I will not use the word
broken, but will use unfair. Artillery trades less ability to
cause sustained damage, for ability to apply unfair damage other
classes cannot. 2. Artillery does not contribute to
tactical movement of teams. It can assist in the strategic
movement, surely. But it will not share HP, scout, push,
cap, defend. The very rare times it does, are late game emergencies
where they are likely the last alive to do anything anyway. No
other class is so helpless. All other class will, can, do
these. 3. The producer, understands the issue,
acknowledges it....war gaming trie and trie to correct the problem.
Artillery is the single most, and commonly at that, nerfed class.
Repeatedly nerfed as well. This leads to many other decisions
as well. Like no further releases in artillery tech tree,
artillery premium, Etc. For fear of reprisal, having to nerf a
premium arty. You can broach, talk all the logic
you wish. It does not matter. This is black and white. And
ultimate, yes or no. Artillery can do what other tanks can do.
Perhaps not well, poorly. But it can. It can directly spot,
attack directly, Etc. Tanks CANNOT do what artillery can. This is
unfair. The simplest form of logic, is yes or no. And
yes, it is unfair. Because only it does it, and to none other
does it apply. Rules do not apply to only them.
