Why not reference a source for once? (Hint, the answer is you have none, these are your incorrect opinions.)
Read more, guess less. Savvy?
Draschel: Go to US Army, go to infantry divisions, go to equipment and
organization, and see that at battalion level 37, 57, 75mm AT guns
were fielded? What on flying earth are you talking aboutAre you an
imbecile? It is not me calling you one, but rather me asking if you
are one. A division has numerous branches. Splits into regiments,
battalions, company, platoon. A division, will have its own
battalions / companies of many different things, such as AT units.
Med triage units. Logistic trucking units. Engineering units.
Whether these are allocated into smaller, platoon or company, or
battalions is depending on importance. So it goes to say, Anti
tank equipment are within infantry divisions. Every single nation
does this. An armored or cavalry division, is again
split into armored regiments, battalions, companies, individual
platoons. These can range from mobile artillery, to heavy Cav
(tanks) to motorcade infantry, to logistics, to repair
and engineering, whichever. A gun motor carriage halftrack with a
gun, either M7 76 or 57, would have been armored cavalry and not
infantry, whereas a towed 57 / 75 would be infantry. How do you not
understand this? By the way, do you have proof of your
dumb argument against indirect Vs direct? Case in point,
I was watching a Bundeswehr SPG training exercise on the military
channel, where Pz2000H were practicing direct fire trials. DIRECT
FIRE. Because if it comes down to it, these howitzers still are
able to do what, DIRECT FIRE. Do you not understand?
