Who asked for High Explosive shell Rework?

Look right here on the forum, very few people talked about HE prior to the changes of 1.13 being announced. It is quite literally a change only a small handful of players wanted that WG, in all likelihood, did because some people were using HE as a poor man's gold to chip away at things they could not get through with standard, or even gold in some cases. The game's been moving towards meta tanks with no weakspots like the Chieftain when hull-down or the 279(e). To fight these vehicles, your options were (assuming you weren't a tier 10 TD that may just have enough raw penetration to get through) was to load gold or chip away at them with HE. Gold is more profitable for WG than HE, so HE went.    And the KV-2 was not really a broken tank, everyone complains about the derp gun but always forgets that pretty much everything else about it sucks and it is extremely dependent in its own team to support it due to the horrendous reload and awful accuracy.

Draschel:  No sorry is needed. You do not need to buy it.I have been playing WoT since 2011. It does not matter what you or I think, or how long we have been thinking itMany people hate the effects of HE, and generally the changes are for the betterment of the game. It adds particularly more skill to it. I have hated HE as a problem in this game for many many many years already. And though you may not see it as a problem, I have. Others think the same. As I said, it depends what camp you sit in, and how you view the game, experience it. You speak of devastatingly powerful tanks being too difficult to deal with, and they are certainly powerful. But their power is amplified by their held position, where they are at the time. To which you just ignore. A powerful tank is made many times more powerful, when in ideal position. and if you choose to fight a powerful tank, in powerful position, in weak position yourself, with a lesser tank too......losing strategy. Imbecile strategy. That decision is the fault of the player, unable to differentiate game importance and position, and instead being lazy to use HE.  I do not buy into the argument. I play for position, for effect. The KV2 isn't over bearing and powerful. It is broken, in that it functions alot like artillery. I don't care what penalties it pays, for its no aim no skill derp gun -  guess what arty also pays this penance, this exact price.....where they have nothing else but their broken gun and gameplay. But that gun, that play - is broken to the point it is the single most nerfed thing ever to grace WoT.  Arty also needs huge support. Arty also map dependent. Arty also low accuracy. The comparisons to arty and KV2 are staggering. Broken things that just don't fit into the game fairly.  You can think however you like. Opinions are opinions. Different players, different opinions ......differing skill levels have different opinions
