Draschel: It does improve a persons performance. No one doubts that. So do
equipment, 5 skill crews, large consumables and nation rations,
exterior camo paint, directives Use this example, because
prior to equipment 2.0 it was clearer::A casual but determined
lime-green grinder (50-52% bracket) who still seeks wins and does
his or her part in getting those wins, who doesn't spend lots of
gold and free exp, grinding through a tank with 100% basic crew -
former binoculars / tool box / camo net that were mountable and
de-mountable (decent choices for casual grinders on temporary
tanks) didn't really bother with rented exterior paint camo, didn't
bother to use directives or nation's rations / auto fire
extinguisher but rather sticks with small kits and manual fire
extinguisher or something reusable like engine governor. Didn't
bother to at least unlock tracks with free exp, so all modules from
last tank can be immediately applied and full equipment can be
mounted if weight restrictions are in play without the tracks.
Didn't bother blocking a beneficial map of choice.....and finally
used a 75%/20%/5 AP/APCR/HE ammo split. Now take the same
player, same tank who unlocks the tracks and turret using free exp,
immediately gaining access to not only no restrictions for
equipment and former tier middle modules - but also has the turret
HP+dispersion+view range+armor upgrade. They decide to use the
middle gun from last tier, middle engines and grind to elite, fine.
They instead of using demountable, savings equipment, focus on
traditional setups like Optics, ventilation, vertical
stabilizer or gun layer, rammer. They use not
necessarily nation's rations, but definitely large kits and
automatic extinguisher. They have a 5 skill crew trained with gold
so no exp loss from former tier transition. Tank is painted in
camo. Crew skills are core setups, like
BIA/CORE/repairs/camo/firefighting. A directive of choice is used.
A beneficial/annoying map is blocked by the user, not favoring the
tank. And finally......the users load out is 97% APCR, 3%
HE Who is doing better? We both know. But ONLY PREMIUM AMMO,
isn't the sole reason. Premium ammunition shouldn't be held in such
a sole and high regard, as it alone is an example of something one
can implement, to make you better, even if just 1-2% W/R
better. Many things can be done to make someone better. Premium
ammunition gets such negative hype, because it is a bad players
scapegoat.
