Premium tanks need to start receiving nerfs.

Дата: 05.07.2021 03:08:18
Draschel: Ever hear of,  "all roads lead to Rome" ?  It all comes down to premium tanks, a stand that needs to be taken. And I know, it is impossible to please everyone. Impossible. With any change that maybe put forward, considered a nerf, there will be players and arm chair generals who scream foul. That is human nature. But instead of trying to please any particular lobbying group, how about we try just to make things as fair as possible? Is that a bad goal to push for? When we all agreed to play this game, we consented that none of the virtual belongings, are retained as our sole property. WG is free, to reserve the rights, to altering their intellectual property. We all agreed to the same thing. At the very least, easy enough would be compensation in delivered gold....not your money back, virtual currency - for which you at the time consented to pay. Let's take a look. Nerfing, knee-capping the Standard B->Progetto 65, and leaving Progetto 46 out of it is not cool.Nerfing HE penetration and dispersions on Lynx->EBR90->105 was nice, but leaving EBR75 out of it isn't.Nerfing OI, oho, Type 4, 5  but then leaving out KV2 because of KV2( R ) just isn't cool. Nerfing artillery, but having the nerfs stop at tier V so LefH18 isn't touched is comical. Clever too.Nerfing before release/going live, examples like T92, FV4202(P) but last second buffing 279E, 252U?  These are just a few clear examples, but there are more. And it wasn't always this way, simply because premium tanks initially weren't always out the door so powerful as they are now. When the game started, IS6 wasn't an IS3, Lowe wasn't a Tiger II, and suka Pershing wasn't an M26 Pershing. And WG has shown us, they still are able to produce newer premium tank designs that aren't ridiculously over the top, like STG Guard, Skoda T27, T103, T42, T77, Senlac, 122 TM for example - relatively new premium tanks that certainly aren't game changers like skorpion G, progetto 46, bourratt, Defender, EBR75, LT432 have been. Proper game balance needs to be established, desperately.  We can fix 110E5, Type 5, Progetto 65, Maus, object 268 V4 (laughably) object 430U (more laughably)  EBR105 (ignore the actual problem)  but large problems persist, that can't be touched like 279E, 907, 260, Chieftain. And the solution isn't....."oh everyone can get these tanks, they aren't exclusive to people here or people there"  Well, yes, difficulty aside.....everyone can get them. But that isn't the point, they break gameplay and if everyone did get them, I don't want a metagame of JUST THESE TANKS where the actual tech tree fade away into obscurity. That's the whole reason WG kicked them out of ranked, its the only way WG could think of, to practically nerf them, without physically having to actually nerfing them. And another simple fix, isn't releasing new tanks that shift gameplay either, like 274A, LIS, SU130PM, Bourratt that people just gobble up and buy.  If this doesn't take effect, we get a continual leapfrogging of other tanks, instead of proper balance. And this results in nonsense like doing something great to tank A, doing something not great at all to B, and simply ignoring C.....Tanks get ridiculous buff schemes, in order to make them more effective - leaving other tech tree examples not touched since 2012, instead of nerfing the actual problem premiums to more manageable levels, which would result in alot of this leapfrogging buffing not necessary/reduced too.  Rant off.
