Draschel: the problem with FV, is much like arty, it tends to break
conventional gameplay. Same with HE Fochs155 or type 5.
(KV2+OI+SU152)With this in mind, nerfing....well WG tends to nerf
the wrong things that don't change the negative things about the
tankNerfing FV top speed, reverse speed, track traverse
- sure irritates players but doesn't prevent people from
dealing 1,200 damage or worse, 1,700 damage alpha. At
any rate, FV is currently better than its release, years and years
ago. When it was released, it was trash. Then they buffed it into
top 10 random battle tier 10 tank, and now its nerfed again. But
still better than its release. Sort of like what happened to
110E5. What I think is make top speed 40, restore the
reverse/track traverse so FV can actually use its HP/T and play
mobile. Make gun elevation 15, don't see any reason not too, the
turret is massive and has the space. Make the front of the turret
88mm like challenger, so most HE gets turned into a non pen, at
least from the front. But remains cheese for even tier 8 APAnd to
truly balance the vehicle, remove the HESH and give it a
semi-effective HE pen, say like Sheridan HEAT, 150mm pen. Keep the
AP as is, and provide it a new HEAT, like 350mm HEAT pen as the
VK7201. Change the alpha damage to 1,060/1,420 but autocorrect ROF
so DPM remains, or slightly increases like with the L71 88mm
changes, most gained slight DPM. This satisfies the bads, in that
you still have high HE to not aim and just play the derper, and
with 150mm pen you can still penetrate alot of stuff with more
aiming. But you aren't as crippling to many tiers 9-10. And with
the new HEAT, you get to stay more reliable with WGs up-armoring
trend, AKA IS4, E100, E75.
