Idea on how to REALLY fix the spgs?

Draschel: That isn't the important thing you need to know. At those high
speeds, what is important is it wants to spot, by je-baiting an
entire team to fire at it. That's its principle yollo trollo
role. I don't take tanks personally anymore. I took it
personally when they nerfed arty 9.17 years off and since then, I
have maybe played 4 arty games. The class is dead, and is regulated
to a tool people call for in CW and advances. Or for an incompetent
who otherwise can't manage to play anything else, or perhaps a burn
victim in the hospital bandaged up with only 1 working free hand.
Well, I'm neither of those. Why would I want to play a piece of
crap that is going to bottom of the barrel tank any session
statistics, when I could play something like STB1 and truly be
influential and not rape my stats while doing so. And arty doesn't
do its job, at all. What is its job, first of all? As defined by
game hints, pointers, prior to game launch? "Defend arty against
the light tanks, because they will defend you against the heavy
ones" That was a game pointer, for how many years pre-battle?
So, the job is for arty to support your team against heavy tanks?
Is that a Bat Chat 55 or 58 job, when it manages to hit Type 5 or
Maus for 12 damage? Arty doesn't do what 45% tater tots believe it
does. It doesn't remove camping, or neuter heavy tanks. It causes
camping, forces heavy tanks and assault TDs into cities or rocks,
and ends up firing against whatever targets of opportunity actually
lit up, such as forward observer light tanks zipping around or hull
down position meds/fast heavies. All the while TD stay hundreds and
hundreds of meters back, not getting countered or bombed. Arty
doesn't do anywhere near its projected role. That's why WG took
down those game pointers. Most are all wrong. The
players that have higher damage and assistance damage in artillery
compared to other classes (except maybe TD) are the numerous 43-49%
sub par population. That are that way for a reason, because the
required skills needed not to be subpar, they fall short in.
Interestingly, the inverse is most untrue. The players that do
significantly well in damage and assistance damage and W/R with
artillery, don't do nearly as well as they would in actual tank
classes. And everyone knows this, everyone with a thinking
functional mind. Low skill floor, you are shown the ropes once and
it is easy. Low skill ceiling, a mere juvenile peaks. Compared to
tanks though, like Leopard or Grille 15 or Udes 15? High skill
floor, takes hundreds of battles to hone. But high skill ceiling
the sky is the limit. You do have an attitude problem, because you
are contemptuous. You sneer at people. Why is that, jealousy? Envy?
Anger? Don't know, don't care. We don't make the decisions. And WG
doesn't listen to any specified lobbying groups. They do what they
want, what they think populations/servers want. There are
statistics of variance, that we can't really verify as true or
false, but what they tell us that they ahve tallied, like the
sandbox testing, for example. You have a problem with that,
you refute their step by step processing? You take it up with them,
not sit on some silly conspiracy theory. I am just describing the
history of the class, its rocky down hill road, and where it
continues to go. Skill, is a summation of skills. It is very
weirdly worded, in that the plural make up the singular, but it is
truly the case. artillery reduces some of the skills an
effective and aware player possess, but does not remove his skill -
in entirety. Let us say we have a player who averages 4K damage 4.5
combined in his WZ111 5A or 113 - and the guy is having a
particularly bad session, and is only managing 3.5k combined
instead due to many reasons, but perhaps focus and artillery and
RNG being major ones, to his frustration. Why is this sad
face, quitting-for-the-night player, still absurdly raking in 3.5K
combined? What bad players don't even do in their tier 10 over 2
games worth? Because of the other fundamentals to fall back on
- its just the full potential is being held back, and as a result
no 4.5. It is quite easy arithmetic, really. WG
doesn't use terms like Broken. They won't ever. They acknowledge,
and nerf - but they won't use a term like Broken. Do you want me to
count the arty nerfs since inception, compared to other classes?
Nothing even comes close. But they can nerf artillery another 10
times, over a span of another 5-6 years - and still it won't change
its nature. You aren't a good artillery player, sorry to
burst your bubble. You have to leave tier IV for that. And leave
SA, as well.1,200 for 6s- 1,500 for 7s- 1,700 for
8s, 1,900 for 9s, 2,300 for 10s are what the 3 mark
pros seem to get. Then you are a good artillery player. The
thing about being good or not, its not a self endowed thing. People
need to say you are good, rather than you obnoxiously thinking you
are good. But if you were to take a look at Tedser or Xrays,
or whomever does the neat kinky sit in a M53/55 or Conqueror
for 3 marks, that is
good.
