Tier 8 Tanks should not see Tier 10 battles

I was in a 60TP on Himmelsdorf, and 60-70% of the tanks in the battle were tier 8 tanks. None of their tier 9 or 10 tanks were Capable Heavy's, so guess what I did? No strategy, I just pressed W and proeeced to farm all the weak little tier 8's in front of me for an easy 5K Damage game. They shot me, and tried to survive, some penned, some failed, but it didn't matter. with 2800 HP and a 750 damage gun, i'll glady take a 2-300 damage hit from a weak little tier 8 to chew away half of his health any day. Some of these 8's mind you were blue and Purple players, so these were not bad players I was farming.

But when a tier 10 Tank is pressing W on you, and you are 2 tiers below him, it doesn't matter if you are a Super-unicum 70%er player in an IS3, you just die. There is no chance of you winning the engagement, it's an unfair matchup that just gets you killed, bullied, and farmed. Don't worry Mr Tashunka, I'm defending you here. Tier 8's should not see tier 10's, as even if you are super purple, like the IS3 I farmed, you got a tier 10 monster pressing W on you, it's GG.

Draschel:  I certainly agree. However not to be as blunt, there are plenty of examples of -2MM  players contributing far beyond expectations. Frequently, in -2MM these good players that play consistently, are often the players that lead their team in the -2 tanks, often doing better than casual players in higher tiers. Because they simply try harder, are quite a level above others, know their map positions, game mechanics, maybe platoon with like-minded people and force-multiply their skill sets, effectively trade HP, know armor models, Etc. An example, an IS3 can still effectively trade HP with something like panzer wagon WZ132-1 Manticore STB1. Etc. Those tier 10 tanks HP are worth far more than IS3, yet the trade is still for 390 both ways. Another example, a T110E3,4,5 and M48 Patton all have really poor side armor and are vulnerable to flanking. A simple tier 8 tank with very high DPM, can certainly make their tank work and punch far above their level, if being a part of a unit and working alongside their team. Tanks like STA1 or Caernarvon AX, which essentially have tier 9 DPM and high relative penetration. Or a tank like Somua, that in a moment of exploitation can easily dump 1,500 damage because of an autoloader. These situations do exist, they are just harder to pull off, fewer in number, and require constant awareness. But it remains my opinion, I fully agree. A Panther 88, AMXCDC, Turtle, T95E2 should not have to deal with tier 10 tanks. Nor should a Panzer IV turm or AC4 have to deal with tier 8 tanks like Defender and 703 II. And likewise continuing down the ladder,  a M5 Stuart having to play against an AT8 or OI. Although, there is the point to make for tier 8.5* vehicles, very dominant in their own tier, that can certainly make a difference in tier 10 battles even. Tanks like Defender, which has armor like IS7 or 260, it can make a difference. 703-II and both ISU152 can change the tide of battle, if they blap higher tiers in an instant for 750+  Both caernarvon have high DPM and solid turrets, which can make them annoying and useful. Object 274A is extremely flexible, like a watered down 140 / 907. Tanks like EBR75, LT432 - highly capable scouts. Progetto and 52 Lis, very capable medium tanks and great platforms. Tank destroyers that excel at the job, like S1, Skorp, SU130PM.In these instances, I am all for tier 8s still playing against 10. But that is the issue, not all tier 8s are cut from the same cloth
