Not sure what you people are doing in the Type 59...

DomoSapien: Take my review with a grain of salt because I am far from an excellent player, but after that most recent wave of buffs to pref mm tanks, the Type 59 is a very reliable tank.

Especially in platoons, you can do a lot when you're top tier and and perform reasonably well in tier IX battles. As for why the expected damage might seem a bit low, I'd say it's likely due to the recent Type 59 sale. Lots of players trying out the vehicle for the first time. The standard AP rounds perform reasonably well so if you can avoid spamming gold, you make a good amount of credits too.
