I know what he means. The Jageru was my first Tier X; it's underwhelming to play because it has a relatively high skill ceiling compared to a lot of vehicles at that tier. Positioning is way more important when you have bad mobility, unreliable armor, and a 20-second reload. 420MM is nice in theory but it's a HEAT shell so it will detonate on any spaced armor, fences, structures etc. that an AP or APCR round would easily go through. In mid-to-long range engagements that's actually a pretty big deal because of the painfully long reload time.
Also the whole superstructure outside of the gun mantlet is a weakspot (albeit there is less flat surface area to shoot at than on an E-100, the E-100 has the ability to angle its turret independently of the hull.)
side note: I think it's pretty wonky how the last three tiers in the tree have playstyles that radically differ from one another
