DomoSapien: So I've got an update, not that I can say it's particularly good
news, but it's an update:
The Credit Boosters were removed from the event plan at some point - it sort of caught us all by surprised but for the time being we're playing things safe and removing them from the mission rewards listed on the article and in my forum post. It's possible this was a genuine error, but it's possible that it was motivated by business reasons - either way I'm not happy about misinforming my players and I'm sorry to disappoint all of you guys.
I can't promise a whole lot, we are making a case with HQ about hopefully getting the Credit Boosts compensated retroactively but I genuinely have no clue what they'll say. If we're met with a resounding "no" for Credit Boosts, my tentative plan is to come up with a few compensation ideas and put out a survey to see what players would prefer. All of this being said, I am hoping to deliver, at the absolute least, the Credit Boosters you were promised for the first 4 days of the Event. You gathered these codes operating under the assumption that you would be receiving them, before receiving the news that this may not be the case.
Again, thank you to everybody for all your patience and your continued support. Rightfully so, I imagine this announcement will discourage some of you from continuing to participate in the Scavenger Hunt. I hope that, regardless of the event, you'll support our Community Contributors and all the hard work they put into making content for you to enjoy.
Either way, I'll continue to post updates as they come in. Hoping that we're making a mountain out of a molehill and we get a 'sure thing, no problem' but I do my best to keep y'all as informed as I can.
