DomoSapien: I may not have the most super-informed opinion since I haven't
played these on CT, but I did have the pleasure of testing the Tier
VIII Premium Panhard EBR FL 10 for about 120 battles, if anyone is
curious about my opinion.
First off, it's a blast to play. You really have to throw conventional light-tanking tactics out the window, and employ an opportunistic playstyle. You sort of have two options as far as general playstyle is concerned.
You can go aggro at the start, dive their back line and try to get some early spots before dipping back to base, going dark, then rinsing and repeating or flexing to a different flank, if you see a good opening to get into their back line again.
Or, you can play it very conservatively in the early game, sniping and protecting your arty while you wait for the enemy ranks to thin down a bit. Once you're in mid-to-endgame, you can start active-scouting and mopping up their remaining lights, charging their dug-in TD's if you have a safe avenue of approach, etc.
Do I think Wheeled vehicles will be game-breaking? Nope. They don't have the survivability to viably YOLO the enemy base every game.
Do I think Wheeled vehicles will cause a meta shift? Hard to say. Maybe, probably not a very drastic one. SPG's might be forced to push up closer with their main force rather than sticking around in base. The YOLO might be kind of strong for the first couple of weeks but once players get familiar with how to lead shots on Wheelie Bois I think things will level out quite a bit.
That said, you can take my review with a grain of salt because A) not only am I not the greatest player out there B) I've only played one Wheeled Vehicle (albeit fairly extensively)
