We have recently been receiving some reports of confusion regarding tournament prizing, what to do about technical issues, rule violations, missing payouts, etc.
To help curb the confusion, we figured it would be good to have a single place where players can quickly reference our general regulations for Tournaments, and certain common situations that come up from time to time.
ALL RULES BELOW APPLY UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS SCHEDULEOnly the first X Teams (split in Y groups of Z) to confirm registration will be accepted.Roster Changes can be made by request prior to bracket creation. Once brackets are created, no changes can be made to team lineups.The full schedule is subject to change once the final team count has been determined at the close of registration. Battle groups may be split or consolidated based on number of confirmed teams.In the event of unforeseen circumstances, WGA may change dates and times as needed to complete tournament.Matches and Brackets are published once registration is closed. If brackets are not visible less than 2 hours before tournament start, please notify tournament administrators via private message.Prizing will be credited after tournament finish (Typically 1 week, barring unforeseen circumstances) RULESParticipation in tournaments is voluntary.Gold Prizing is always split among the entire team unless specified otherwise.Any Rule Violations must be reported to tournament administrators within 48 hours of tournament conclusion.Breaking EULA or Game Rules will disqualify your team from the end results with no prizing.All tournament details, scheduling, rules and regulations are subject to change without notice. ROUND ROBIN tournaments will utilize a head-to-head rule for tiebreaking purposes. If team A earns the same amount of points as team B, the team that won when the two faced off is considered the winner. In the event of a 3-way tie where Team A beats team B, Team B beats Team C, and Team C beats team A, all 3 teams will receive the same prize.CLASS RESTRICTED tournaments require replay evidence for all reported violation. If a team is seen bringing the wrong team composition to a class-restricted tournament, that team will be disqualified from the tournament and the bracket will be adjusted accordingly. All Tournaments on the Tournament portal should be posted in the following format. If the information is displayed differently, please let tournament admins know ASAP.X/Y Format (Min Tier Z)XvX Format Tier _ only BATTLE TYPE - X Battles Each Battles will last X minutes max. BATTLE TYPE on MAP NAME Capture Time: There will be X minute staging breaks between battles Minimum Team Size: X Players No tie breakers ROUND ROBIN: Teams earn 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss. X Battles per Round Gold Prizing is always split among the entire team unless specified otherwise. All tournament details, scheduling, rules and regulations are subject to change without notice.
