Thanks for all your patience.
I have some good news and some bad news to share with you.
The bad news is that unfortunately, I was not able to get approval for additional Gold compensation, outside of the 1000 Gold for each team that advanced past the qualifying round and the 2x 50% Credit Boosters for all players who signed up for the tournament.
The good news is that we understand quite a few players spent Gold to train crews, etc. for their Tier IX vehicles, so they could participate in the tournament. Details will be announced tomorrow, but we are planning to have another similar Tier IX tournament this week, so all that crew training etc. does not go to waste. The other good news is that Saturday's 5v5 tournament appears to have gone quite smoothly. (In a perfect world, they both would have gone off without a hitch, but... baby steps, I guess.)
Compensation for the issues will be going out some time this week. We will also be finalizing our July tournament schedule this week, and posting it up so that everyone has an idea of exactly what will be going on next month. We are taking your feedback into consideration and we will be doing our best to give players at least two weeks' notice prior to each tournament, including a generous registration window.
I would like to reiterate my sincere apologies for wasting your time on a Friday night. I know all too well that free time is a luxury that is hard to come by, and I am sure I could have done more to personally ensure that things went more smoothly.
For everyone who posted in here/sent me PM's with kind words of encouragement, I'd also like to personally thank you for that. We deal with quite a bit of negativity from time to time, but your support despite the technical issues means the world to me <3. This has been a learning experience for sure, and you can expect that future tournaments will only get better and better.
