DomoSapien: As I was growing up, my brother and father really enjoyed watching
the History Channel together. Being more interested in Cartoons
than history, I didn't share the same passion.
But "Mail Call" was definitely a show that we could all enjoy together, Since "Gunny" had such an energetic personality. It's sort of hard to believe, since he has always been such a constant. He's one of those guys that you sort of just expect to live forever. Celebrity deaths never really hit me very hard, but this one hits pretty close to home. Truly the loss of a great man. He will be missed.
