IMO. I actually hate close games where I did well, and we
lose because some timid wuss was too afraid to get his pixel tank
scratched. Most close games I lose are like that. When
I lose a blowout, I can at least appreciate the good play by the
other team. That's how it's supposed to be done.DeviouslyCursed: Yes, the idea that a game has to be close to be enjoyable is
just dumb. I have no idea where it comes from. And before some
moron says it's about matching skill, no it is not. You can
landslide an equally skilled team, or even one that is better than
you. Regardless of how or why a blowout happens, as long as I'm a
part of the cause, I'm having fun. If I die early in a match,
I usually back out and don't even know what the end result of the
game was, other than if it was a win or a loss when it pops up. How
does whether or not the final score was close affect my enjoyment
of that match? If you are smart, you would realize it doesn't
affect it at all... EDIT: I too, also hate close losses the
most. Especially if I didn't do as well as I should have because
then I know the loss should have been a win, and it was my fault it
wasn't.
