You should leverage all the "hookey" time you can, Screw
those guys, they don't care how loyal you are, how much integrity
you have or how dedicated you are -- if they need to make cuts and
you fit their scissors, you're gone. Screw those guys, play
the game! Do I sound jaded and bitter? Far from
it! I was living under the ILLUSION that such things actually
MATTER. I have been dis-illusioned and now I am FREE, baby,
FREE! It's like I said before about unreasonable people:
Being reasonable with an unreasonable person is NOT a reasonable
course of action. Being true to a company that has no heart,
soul or conscience is NOT a reasonable course of action, either.

DeviouslyCursed: Yeah, I learned this when I realized that people who stay
with the same company and get promoted a few times, tend to make
less money than people new hired into that same position that the
dedicated employee rose up to. When I worked retail, the raises you
got tended to not keep up with the hiring wage increases, again
making it a situation where the longer term employees made less or
as maybe equal to new hires.
