Proof SBMM is Unfair

DeviouslyCursed: To start off, you have to understand this one thing. All matches
consist of: You + 14 teammates vs 15 enemies It doesn't
matter whether you have SBMM or Random MM, this is true. But here's
the problem with SBMM. It doesn't matter what you use to
balance the match, you will see the discrimination. We'll use
WTR Player A + 14 Teammates total WTRa = 15 Enemy total
WTR Player B + 14 Teammates total WTRb = 15 Enemy total
WTR Watch what happens... Player A = 10000
WTR Player B = 2000 WTR Substitute in their WTR values,
and you have... 10000 + Teammates total WTRa = 15 Enemy total
WTR 2000 + Teammates total WTRb = 15 Enemy total
WTR What are their teammates like? Isolate their Teammates
total WTR by subtracting 10000 and 2000 respectively 10000 -
10000 + Teammates total WTRa = 15 Enemy total WTR - 10000 2000
- 2000 + Teammates total WTRb = 15 Enemy total WTR -
2000 yields Teammates total WTRa = 15 Enemy total WTR -
10000 Teammates total WTRb = 15 Enemy total WTR - 2000 As
you can clearly see, the Teammates total WTR are not the same
between A and B.Regardless of what the enemy teams total WTR is,
the good player's teammates will always be about 10000
lowerRegardless of what the enemy teams total WTR is, the bad
players' teammates will always be about 2000 lower That means
when you compare the total WTR of the teammates between the good
and bad player, the good player's teammates will always be about
8000 lower than the bad player's when facing similar enemy
teams. To put it another way 2000 + Teammates total WTRb
= 15 Enemy total WTR = 10000 + Teammates total WTRa
or 2000 + Teammates total WTRb = 10000 + Teammates total
WTRa subtract 2000 from each side 2000 - 2000 + Teammates
total WTRb = 10000 - 2000 + Teammates total WTRa
yields Teammates total WTRb = 8000 + Teammates total
WTRa This means that Player B's Teammates will always be
greater than Player A's teammates when facing similar opponents.
Always. SBMM must give bad players better teammates to balance the
matches. Put numbers into it. If Player B has 14
teammates with 4000 WTR each, his Teammate total WTRb is 56000,
or 56000 = Teammates total WTRb = 8000 + Teammates total
WTRa 56000 = 8000 + Teammates total WTRa So when Player
B's Teammates are a total of 56000, what will Player A's teammates
be? Subtract 8000 from each side 56000 - 8000 = 8000 -
8000 + Teammates total WTRa yields 48000 = Teammates
total WTRa So to reiterate... Player A's Teammates WTR =
48000 Player B's Teammates WTR = 56000 56000 >
48000 or Player B's Teammate total WTR > Player A's
Teammate total WTR What are a player's teammates like
under Random MM? Player + 14 Random vs 15 random It
doesn't matter who you are, or what you do, or what you pay, or
what delusional perspective your prescribe to, everyone's teammates
are equivalent over time. Everyone's enemies are equivlant over
time. There is no distinction between good or bad players, all are
treated equally under the Random MM. All are not treated
equally under SBMM.
