It's a cultural thing, Orthodox Christmas is January 7th and Old New Year is the January 14th - so for the home office Advent kicks off later and ends in the new year. No response yet to my proposal to change the whole thing to "CabbageMechanic's Post-Festivus 2017-2018 Winter Solstice Celebration and Pan-Holiday Extravaganza"
