ARGO: This is just an idea I decieded to throw out there to help out on "non company" standard battles. Last night I was in battle and during the count down I read on chat someone asking for "a plan" and then the idea hit me like a freight train, What we really need is some good battle maps, something you can study for each different map and then run with when you can't come up with a descent plan. Also I was thinking about generic names for different basic maneuvers and what to call them.
So, I figure all of you out there can have some fun creating these maps "using existing game maps" and puting colored arrows and what not showing a drive or defensive position but I also figured it may get a bit confusing telling them apart so we may want to give them names:
Possible examples:
Alpha = Normal Attack push head on
Alpha Sierra = Attack push left
Alpha Gamma = Attack push right
Alpha Omega = All out rush
Beta = Defensive
Beta Sierra = Defend left
Beta Gamma = Defend right
Beta Omega = All tanks to defend base
So a map showing an all out attack from the left in the Westfield map would be named: Westfield Alpha Omega Sierra.
Something I guess we can all agree on as a universal way of announcing quickly your intensions during a countdown in a general match. If not for nothing I figure it may be a good way of learning something new, creative and different as well as tweak some great battle plans from all of you.
Your ideas?
