ARGO: The true facts are pretty simple:
1. Comparing the M4 Sherman "Medium" to a Tiger "Heavy" is the equivalent to comparing a destroyer to a battleship. It is an unfair comparison for the Sherman.
2. The Sherman became famous due to it's own right and not due to it's killing prowess as the Tiger was.
3. The tiger became famous due to the 88mm and it's shear size and armour. If it had been equiped with a lesser gun it most likely would have just a footnote in history.
