The mathematical truth is and will always be the same for these kind of swings.  Wn8 goes up with kills and damage.  Winrate goes down if the kills and damage are applied at the wrong time or already during a loss.  This circles back to decision making.  The difference in wn8 tiers is like 2-3 shots and a kill or two.  Depending, really.  Self evaluation is critical and also, most difficult of all to do.   You can do damage.  You can make kills.  But can you do it at the right time?  The question is when is the right time.  That's where we have to study our replays to find out.  Because you can see beyond what you could in the moment.  You can see where you had an opportunity you missed.  Then make sure you find it the next time.  I know, it's a lot like homework.  So, at the end of the day.  You're either at the mercy of the matchmaker or you do everything you can to control what you can.
