like that IS3/7 sideways in front of all the tanks in the world but
we learned. The only way to win more is to play better and
even then a lot of the time you just won't. A lot of games
are genuinely not able to be carried no matter how hard you
try. However that's when you just need to get what you can
for yourself out of it. Have the fun you came to have and
move on. I came back after a few years away and I'm still
doing pretty good solo. Some things don't really
change. What does change however is us. If you've hit a
plateau that's something you need to figure out. Also I don't
enjoy farming a doofus who has no idea what he's doing. But,
I feel if you're at tier 8+ which is where I primarily play?
You've lost the ability to be a newbie doofus and you've chosen to
either invest 40+ bucks on a premium which I feel you should need a
certain PR to unlock the ability to buy. I know that'll never
happen but, you know. If you can't tolerate the
losses, figure out where your play is inhibiting you from winning
more and address it. Practice. The only skill that is
harder to replicate than others is critical thinking in
battle. The decisions we make. I make a lot of bad
ones. A lot of people make way more bad ones. I
remember back when, the best advice I was given was fling yourself
in a strong tank into the fray and force yourself to think on the
fly and knife fight your way out. Sure enough after a few
hundred rounds I began to see some real improvements. This
may not work now for the meta but, there are ways to learn and do
it still. The game has a lot of intricate little things and
decisions are king in a game where in you do not respawn.
One wrong or right choice can mean victory or loss. The 300
HP you lost for poking out may mean you can't win a 2v1 or 1v1
later on that would have been critical. Anyone can do
it. I believe that. But they need sufficient practice
and more so the proper motivation. Not everyone is going to be like
me with something to prove in a game they really love. Some
folks just won't care. So all that matters, ever. Is
how much you care and how much you're willing to personally put
in. That's really it.
1LT_Dwayne: Thank you for your reply and patience. Most of what you said is
true but WG doesn't give players many choices in what tier a
player can play. I don't like to play against bots and I don't
like to wait 3mins for a battle so low tier is a no for me (tanks
are also ugly). Mid tier seems fine to me but tier 5 is not
appreciated by WG(no battle pass and other events rewards) and
what's the point of tier 6 and 7 if they can meet tier 8-9? I tried
it but then I realized all the good stuff WG offers that I can't
put my hands on.
