The_Chieftain: Although we are aware of the distinction between "Russian" and "Soviet", the two are often used interchangeably in English. Much like we refer to people from the USA as "American", even though Canadians, Mexicans, Brazilians etc are all from the Americas.   /   Хотя мы знаем о различии между "русским" и "Советская", два часто используются как синонимы в английском языке. Многое, как мы называем людей из США, как "американец", хотя канадцы, мексиканцы, бразильцы и т.д., все из Америки.
