The_Chieftain: По поводу поднятия крышки трансмиссионного отсека — покрыт торсион или нет, открывать его все еще очень неудобно. Я отснял уже несколько танков, и пока только у советских оказалось невозможным открыть отсек двигателя, не провозившись при этом с инструментами. Я специально уточнил в Кубинке, возможно ли будет открыть отсек для съемок. И мне сказали, что это невозможно. Не запрещено, а именно невозможно. По причине ли отсутствия времени, инструментов, или еще какой, я не знаю, да и не спрашивал. Если же я не прав по поводу веса панели,и прощу за это прощения. Но суть остается прежней — такой дизайн неудобен в использовании.

With respect to lifting the rear panels: Torsion bar on the transmission cover or not, it still seems particularly inconvenient to open. I have filmed a number of these vehicles, and so far only the Soviet ones has it not been possible to open up the engine deck at all without spending time with tools. I specifically asked at Kubinka if it would be possible to open up the back of the tanks to allow the camera access. I was told that it was not feasible. Not prohibited, just not feasible. If this was for tools, time, or whatever, I don't know, and didn't ask. So even if the specifics of lifting the weight are wrong, and I apologise for that, the practical reality remains the same: It is not user-friendly.
