downloaded from this mod hub are from now forbidden?vuque: No, they will be evaluated due to our fair play policy. However, mods downloaded from
our Mod Portal means, they are not forbidden!
Tunerko90, on 26 February 2018 - 03:48 PM, said: Does this mean that every modpack there contains only verified and
allowed mods?vuque: Yes, indeed!
SirHamedo, on 26 February 2018 - 04:15 PM, said: But I don't understand why this message popup after pressing
Download on any mod, I mean .. if WG is not responsible then
what the point of this hub?
vuque: We run some tests but we can't cover all possible
use cases and PC configurations, so technical problems with these
mods still might occur. And please keep in mind that, mods are
created by players/modders.
Homer_J, on 26 February 2018 - 04:44 PM, said: The big question is how long does it take to get a mod approved.
If it's going to be several days between release of a patch,
to mods being approved then it will be a failure.vuque: Regarding the approval process - usually it takes couple of
hours. During peak loads (like the days when game updates are
released) it may take up to one day, but it is very unlikely that
it would take more than that.
deorum, on 26 February 2018 - 03:41 PM, said: Maybe create an authentication check, something like digital signed
stuff, so only GREEN mods can be installed in the
client? I dont know how feasible is this technologically, but if it works, it should make illegal mods impossible to install. Good job nonetheless, a very good first step. !
vuque: Maybe in the future.
fighting_falcon93, on 26 February 2018 - 03:46 PM, said: Will the mod hub also check mods for malware etc? vuque: We do scan mods with some anti virus programs and run
some tests before accepting them into our Mod Portal but as
you know, it is very hard to ensure anything on internet is 100%
safe. This is why, we remind you that; "World of Tanks mods are
created by players. While all modifications undergo basic checks
and preliminary tests, Wargaming is not responsible for their
performance, quality and safety."
Velutious, on 26 February 2018 - 04:48 PM, said: Does this mean that in the future you can only install mods via the
mod hub? Seems like a good step in the right direction.vuque: Maybe, we will see.
Szatanshow, on 26 February 2018 - 05:02 PM, said: Too bad half ot the mods are in russian language if they got
instaler Anyway i only use Circon mods its all i need and
they are not even on this hubvuque: Because majority of the mod makers are from the CIS (Russian
Speaking) Region.

TacticusMK2, on 26 February 2018 - 05:13 PM, said: Mods approved for previous versions could receive a
temporary auto approve? If a mod dev abused this it would only be
once anyway. Doubt the serious mod creators would pull one like
this just to allow the community to cheat for 1~2 days.vuque: If you are a mod developer, please contact us and we will
look into how we can assist you.
