thePhilX: Hey,we think there are different approaches on how to play
the tank. When it comes to equipment, the vertical stabilizer
is a must have in our opinion, as it significantly boosts your gun
parameters, which is very important with such a mobile tank with a
high rate of fire.Beside that, the Gun Rammer is a big
recommendation, as you want to boost your strengths and DPM is
definitely one of them. Some people might feel like the difference
between e.g. 4.4s and 4.0s reload doesn't make such a big
difference for them, as the situations in which you can constantly
fire on reload is very limited. This way you might want to go for
more view range; if you prefer playing the vehicle more in a light
medium / spotting medium role instead of joining brawls and the
heavy direct combat. Alternatively you can use a Turbocharger for
additional mobility. I personally went for Vents, Vertical
Stabilizer and a Gun Rammer, using bond equipment, a 6 skill crew
from my Leopard 1 and rations to max out the view range. But you
can't expect everyone to have that or be willing to invest into
rations for their tier 8 premium tanks in which they want to make
credits. That's why going with vents as the only boost for view
range might not be enough. If you want to act more as a sneaky 2nd
line supporter you can even go for a low noise exhaust system. We
hope that players will try out for themselves which setup suits
them best and how they can enjoy their play-style using this
vehicle. When it comes to crew skills, there are a lot of
different opinions on what is most important and what should be
done in which order. We are convinced that 6th sense and repairs
are great options for the first skill, as they give you fundamental
advantages and improve your gameplay by a lot. Using gun handling
skills (Snap Shot and Smooth Ride) on a tank that fires that often
shouldn't be a big discussion as well. Brothers in arms has a
positive impact on many parameters of the tank, including
firepower, mobility but also view range and concealment. You could
argue, that going for Situational Awareness (to add more view
range) or Concealment (to make the vehicle more stealthy) are also
good options for the 3rd crew skill and you would be right. As the
Kampfpanzer 07 RH is a premium vehicle, every crew from other
German tanks can be used on it without any drawback. There are many
community favorites within the German tech tree such as the Panther
tanks, the E-50 or the Leopard 1 (and countless others on lower
tiers), which means that many players do not have to start from
scratch when it comes to the crew. We also know that players tend
to reset skills to use a full perk but not losing their crew
experience progress in the meantime, while going up to 100% on the
individual skill (e.g. train concealment on all crew members and
replace it with BIA, after you reached 100%) - this option might be
efficient for highly engaged players with a lot of resources but
newcomers won't be able to use it. So going with the order we
suggested will give you a good start with the tank and when you
reach the stage of more than 2 skills, you can still use the
graphic as an orientation on what is important with the vehicle.
Same as with the equipment, it is on you to decide how you want to
play the vehicle; if you are more of a sniper than a brawler you
should skill concealment and view range first. TLDR:
Individualize the vehicle suitable for your way of playing and feel
free to use our recommendations as a start or an orientation later.
