World of Tanks is calling for submissions for the WoT Flipbook competition!
We’re looking for new talents in short animation about your favorite in-game tank!
Sounds interesting? If yes, show your best Flipbook to the world and win some gold.
How to make your competition entry:
The animated flipbook should consist of images which will produce around 3 seconds of moving image. If you don’t know how to make a flipbook from scratch, below is a brief guide. Once you are done, record it and post the video in this thread. Don’t forget to write your in-game name on the first page of the flipbook.
Rules: Your video can´t be shorter than 3 seconds
Your YouTube video reply quality should be at least 360p!
In the first page of your flipbook, don’t forget to list your in-game name
You have one month to submit your entry (starting today, January 31st, closing February 28th)
We will be sharing some of the videos on our World of Tanks Facebook page!
By uploading your video, you agree that the material uploaded might be used and published by Wargaming.net in a promotional video. Please remember to respect the rules of our EULA and Terms of Service.
Please respect copyright rules; no politically related symbols or messages are allowed Entries which do not follow these rules will be disqualified
Rewards:
1st Place – 7,000 gold + bonus code
2nd Place – 6,000 gold + bonus code
3rd Place – 5,000 gold + bonus code
4th Place – 4,000 gold + bonus code
5th Place – 2.500 gold + bonus code*

How to make your own flipbook (example)
You’ll need: Regular printing paper, paper knife, pencil, eraser, rubber band
- Cut papers to get 80 pieces in size 85 mm x 55 mm (horizontal)
- Leave 4 empty pages in the beginning and in the end of the book. This makes it easier to flick it through smoothly.
- Start drawing with a pencil (or any other technique you want to use) from the end of the book. This way you can see the previous image through the paper. Do not use other colours than black inside the book.
- Make a cover image to your book. This can be made with colours.
- Check that the final clip consists of all pictures.
- Bound the book tightly with a rubber band.
