Video Story Contest - The Results

View PostGundas, on 24 May 2012 - 09:44 PM, said: "There were a number of videos that did not get approved because they broke the rules and we wanted to keep the competition fair." - This is a paragraph from the results full news text... First i want to tell that there are "winners" in that list that have broken even up to 2 rules... for example no narative voice or no story line, (just a recorded battle) or the one were you say "Only use images from in-game replays, except for the credit where the in game name of the author can be displayed."
here are the rules in case you guys from Wargaming forgot them...
"Rules:

All the submissions should follow the following rules: Duration: at least one no more than 3 minutes.
Video must be filled in on Youtube in high quality (HD: 720 or1080).
Follow a storyline.
Have a narrative voice. All languages are allowed, but if the voice over is not in English, please add English subtitles. No copyrighted material allowed.
One submission per person in that category*.
Video must not violate the moral, ethical and legal standards and rules of the forum and games.
Only use images from in-game replays, except for the credit where the in game name of the author can be displayed." Now my question is... how come i was not in that list (there may be a logical and fair explanation, i agree) , but i want to hear it , because i don't think there is one when i see in the "winners" list others who , as i told before broke the rules, but still got accepted... one more thing, there were 26 places for 26 prizes... in your "winners" list there are 25 "winners" which means that all the other videos broke the rules , which is not true, both mine and my friend, who participated in the contest, videos respected the rules and guess what ? non of us is in that 26th place.

Now if you guys realy meant this "we wanted to keep the competition fair" which i think you didn't, because well... you are a bunch of corporatist hyenas, i would like to have my question answered.

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=o4iMPGojHvY - This is my video, now tell me were did i break the rules or just admit that this was not a fair evaluation and make the capitalist pigs / corporatist community proud.

Have a good day.

P.S. i realy liked some videos and most of them deserved to win, some of them even should get a better placement ahead of others that were way worse... and even those who didn't fully respect the rules deserved to be winners but not in front of those who did respect the rules...! (i have nothing personal with any of you... i just think that this was not a fair evaluation of the competition, and there are more people like me that are in the same situation, as i told you, my friend is one of them).

supercharge:

Hi,

First of all thank you very much for your feedback.
We have checked your link today and it was approved on the forum and it took part in the vote for the best video.
Here is the link:

I understand your anger as you put a lot of efforts in this video but the European Wargaming office team picked the winners and unfortunately this time you weren't among the lucky ones.

25 instead of 26 - thanks for spotting this for us. We did pick 26 winners however one player has been skipped - this is our mistake and I would like to apologize for it.
We added him to the list today :

Many thanks,
