What’s The Anonymizer?

The most posted topic in the Gameplay section is where we meet eachother in a battle. and, for me at least, meeting someone you know in a battle, wether it is on my team or the enemy team makes the best battles.   But on the other hand I can understand some arguements players brought in. Although I do not see much improvement concernign the toxicity and calling people idiots, but that is mostly since tyhey arent being called out for their color but for the actions they do or do not ingame. that was also the case before the anonimizer. I play a lot on all tiers and mostly it was just because someone doing something stupid and they still do that with or without anonimizer and get called names for it. I do understand that the better players have less (arty) focus and the game has become better for those so that is good.   I think three little changes would make it better for everyone. Medals - as Cobra and you were talking about. It is weird that they are still showing. Friendslist - I would love to see the players on your friendslist always be shown. You both agreed on that manually so why hide them ? Clanmembers - It should also show the clanmembers from the clan you are in. As I mentioned above, the best battles are with those you know and I think everybody could agree with me on that. And if you want to hide from your clanmates, why be in a clan anyway.   At the moment it is only benefitional for those few good players whose game got easier and didnt change much for the rest of us. And in it s current form I would like it to be removed. With the 3 above changes I could live with it.

parim1331:  First of all, thank you for your feedback, it is very appreciated. I have to admit, meeting people from the forums, or Discord in-game truly brings competitive spirit out of me, especially when they're in the opposing team. And I agree here, not having a chance to know who you're playing with affects the social part of the game. Continuing, some parts of the overall negativity have definitely been diminished, that's a fact. What's also a fact, is that we may never completely defeat toxicity due to it's nature. In conclusion, I see the Anonymizer as a trade-off, that's affecting the social aspect, but on the other hand, it's helping some players avoid possibly unwanted situations.
