About the naming and shaming rule

What if we allow this and an entire clan decides to start
picking on a person, for example, you. Would you like being
flamed on the forum? Would you like topics along the lines of
"Recene is a bot / cheater / racist!"? Would you like having
players spread lies about you on the forums and not be able to ask
the moderators for help?
I doubt you do and that is why the rule is in effect. If you have an issue with someone report them with the tools we've given you, don't come to the forums proclaiming X Y or Z has done this that and the other. It's not needed and will not result in anything constructive or useful. As Wsat pointed out (in a way) this topic has come up many times and still does regularly. I hope the explanation I've given makes you see this rule from perhaps a different perspective :).
