always true for people (when bullets start flying). You
might saw some movies or TV shows that people jumped into
water ran (swim and dive) away from people shooting at him on
the bridge or from river bank. It is kinda true, move in the
water can reduce the chance for you to get shoot. But it is not all
because of water can slow the bullet down. It is also related
(largely) with the light shoot from air into water then
reflect back to whoever's eyes above water. It will create a
false image cause the shots are missing the target. Like
good fish men knows if they want to catch fish with a fish fork
they should punch a little more forward than what they saw. Pretty
much for the same reason. (BTW in the movie/TV when
you saw they film someone jumping in the water, shoot at by SMG or
AR rounds but still run away without a scratch-----I don't think
it's true. Even you dived deep enough you might still got one or
two shots for sure.) Anyway for tank it is almost
impossible. PS: I don't know what are all those nergreps
about. Although I don't care but I'm actually quite pissed off by
that.
iScending: Actually bullets fired into water will expand very very rapidly and
loose all their effectiveness within a few feet. Mythbusters had an
entire episode about it, but I found one clip that nicely sums it
up. So yes, water is the perfect way to escape
gunfire, but as has been pointed out I'm not sure if it's working
the same way in WoT as I've never actually tested it!
