out so that everyone gets at least a chance. Not staring at
your PC at exactly 1 second past 4pm because you have a job? Well
**** you, try again tomorrow., everything's sold out within a few
seconds. What a mean-spirited way to run an event.
Guess I'll keep my cash. eekeeboo: They may seem similar situations but they are not, you have
scalpers.... that do not exist for the game. Without that issue
ticket sales would go all at once (as they once did). As long as
people are spending their gold etc, then it's mission achieved for
the Black Market guy! 10:54 Added after 1 minute

like this. On so many levels, it's truly boring... 1. you
want to drain credits from the system. Why not make an auction with
a floor? Everyone who wants to buy says up to what amount they're
willing to pay. Obviously, starting from the minimum price(8.5M in
this case). 2. you don't want an auction. Why not make it so
everyone in a span of 2-3h can signup and then the stock is
assigned randomly between them? This way you won't kill the
servers. People that couldn't buy due to interface glitches(because
server overload) won't be pissed. Plus everyone will know they have
under 10% chances to get it. And when they don't get it, they ain't
pissed. Plus, you don't have to come up with jokes like
"wake up at 5am to see our offer". Really - the purpouse of
such an event is to increase customer loyalty. And pissed off
customers usually decrease said loyalty, not increase it.eekeeboo: If it works, it's the perfect way to do it.
